Get Ready For More Remasters From Activision Blizzard In 2021

Video game powerhouse Activision Blizzard has been banking big bucks for some time now thanks to a number of remasters.

We’ve seen the return of IP like Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater from Activision’s side, while Blizzard has chipped in with titles such as Warcraft III: Reforgedthat one obviously didn’t go down well with fans.

In the company’s latest earnings call, it noted how more of this “remastered content” would likely show up at some point this year:

“We have a few other things up our sleeve in terms of remastered content that will unveil in due course, which should provide further opportunity for us this year.”

Back in 2019, Activision said it had a lot of IP that it believed fans wanted to experience again – while making reference to the successful revival of Crash and Spyro.

As for Blizzard, more recent reports suggest it could be working on a Diablo 2 remake.

In related news, it’s also been confirmed the team-based hero shooter Overwatch 2 won’t be releasing this year. For more information about this, see our previous post.
